These arias of exquisite beauty were discovered by Cecilia Bartoli herself. She embarked on a journey that led her to musical treasures of the Imperial Court hidden and lost for over 200 years. Mostly sung in Italian, the album also offers the first opportunity to hear Cecilia sing in Russian.
